Rev. Glen Pugh
Senior Pastor at Aldersgate
Glen is a native of Saraland, Alabama. He received his BA from Huntingdon College and his Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology, Emory University. In addition to serving as a pastor, he also serves on the Central Alabama Emmaus Community Board of Directors. Until recently he served as the Community Spiritual Director for the board. He also has served as the chairperson for the District Committee on Ministry for the Montgomery-Prattville District. In his service to the Alabama-West Florida Conference, he has served on the Conference Board of Trustees as well as the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. In previous years, Glen has taught religion and philosophy courses with Central Alabama Community College.
Glen has been married to his wife Carla for twenty-five years. Carla is an educator with the Montgomery Public Schools and teaches at Halcyon Elementary School. They have two children, Hunter and Hillary. Hunter is in seminary at Vanderbilt and Hillary is a freshman at Central Alabama Community College.
Glen was appointed to Aldersgate in July, 2010. Glen's ministry is the family's ministry; the entire family is fully engaged in service to God and the church they are serving.
