Tuesday, February 07, 2012 You Are Here: Getting Connected / Aldersgate is Going Green / Aldersgate Recycling - How It Works

Aldersgate Recycling Program

How it works?

You will notice BLUE bins located throughout the building.  They are located in the main church office, choir room, CAC and in the hall exiting the main sanctuary.  The BLUE bins are for paper products: newspaper, magazines, file folders, paper, phonebooks, and Sunday programs.

GREEN bins have been placed in the CAC, the youth rooms, and in the kitchens.  These GREEN bins are to collect aluminum cans, steel/tin cans, and #1 and #2 plastic (plastic drinking bottles).  If you are working in the kitchen, please make yourself aware of these bins and utilize them to their fullest capacity.

The church is also recycling cardboard, inkjet cartridges and toner cartridges.

Please visit often for more information about what we are doing to take care of God's creation.  Please contact Khristen Carson at khristencarlson@charter.net or Danny Massey at dmassey@aldersgateumc.org with questions or comments regarding this program.
